When I first heard the name Dollar General, I first thought of a generic dollar store, with flimsy toys that break minutes after opening and cheap non-brand items. So I didn't know what to expect when I took my first trip to a Dollar General store.
When my hubby and I first walked in, the first thing I noticed was name brand bathroom cleaning products and a fridge aisl with milk and other brand name food products.
As we began looking around the store we saw other quality name brand products as well as a really nice store brand.
Hubby and I are moving in two weeks so we headed into the store with the intent of getting cleaning products and some items for moving.
For just $20.68 we walked out with all of this!
We got high efficiency laundry detergent, multi surface cleaner, two rolls of packing tape, trash bags, mr. clean magic eraser clothes, a picture hanging kit, paper plates, and two bug cans of diced tomatoes...all for $20.68.
I was so surprised by the prices! We walked around for a few minutes realizing this will quickly become a store that we frequently shop at.
